The auto racing world shows many similarities with that of cycling and scale-ups. Teamwork and commitment to performance are at the centre, passion and ambition are the drivers. Dstny is therefore very proud to announce that, starting this season, we are sponsoring the racing team Team Longin of the Leuven entrepreneur Bert Longin.

Bert has a particularly punishing record of success both at home and abroad and can call himself the only driver with seven overall Belcar titles in his pocket.  His son, Stienes Longin (31 years old), defended his European title last weekend in Monza at the first round of the Fanatec GT2 European Series 2023, with Peter Guelinckx at his side.  But that's not the only challenge the duo of the #1 PK Carsport Audi R8 LMS GT2 are facing this year. Together with Bert Longin, they also want to extend their Belcar title in 2023. And as if that were not enough, at PK Carsport they are also taking a shot at the touring car title in Belcar. There, Junior Planckaert and Matisse Lismont will share a BMW M2 CS. 

"Team Longin plays along at the European level and is a great example of strong teamwork, where young people also get the chance to prove themselves.
